Welcome to L3's little data explorer for Exoracer!
Note that updates happen only every 4 hours and all times are in UTC (GMT+0).

This site hosts a copy of the best times on official levels, using the access that the app also gives you (I got the API access from the app). User profiles that appear in these highscores are also stored. Finally, the leaderboard data is downloaded.
If you want to access my data copy, feel free to ask me (the game's API can be a pain to work with directly, it's not made for this type of access).

Please report any bugs you notice (most reliable way is to email me, but Discord can work also), particularly in relation to generation 2 or 3 levels!

2025-09-30: Finding who uses a certain skin, glider, trail, hook, or icon now takes 3.5 instead of 150 seconds for huge lists. (Small lists, like for exclusive skins, were always fast.) I changed from using "ORDER BY [dynamic column]" in SQL to doing that part of the computation in PHP. For some reason that's a lot faster, even though it's dynamically generated in both cases. Eyeing the logs, this seems to have been the last of the very slow (>15s) pages.
2025-09-30: Banned GPTBot for requesting the same page for about 3 weeks now, over 100 times every day, and disconnecting before it loads. If it wants to just make me waste server compute power and then not hear the answer, it can go do that somewhere else.
2025-09-08: fixed a database query in the update script. It took 10 seconds at first (June 2024 probably, or maybe 2023?), then jumped to 300 seconds not long after, and now it seems to have increased to 860 seconds (perhaps more gradually?) and been relatively stable since January. I wasn't sure what caused it, seemed to be index-related but it's not using the index we have, and forcing it to use it doesn't help, presumably because too many rows match. It's not a real problem so far but, besides curiosity, it's a bit of a waste of cpu time and may be an issue in the future. Eventually I found that it was an issue in a subquery! It was using a partial index where it could use a full one and avoid needing to do filesort at all. FORCE INDEX inside the subquery solved it back down to 30 seconds.
2025-08-14: fixed an issue related to removing cheated runs from exostats after they were removed on exoracer
2025-04-24: banned Amazon because they were requesting pages and then not waiting a few seconds for the response... I'm not wasting my resources on that
2025-04-22: fixed a bug that was causing load on Fred's side (triggered by influx of new users, something on Exoracer's side couldn't handle it, then my system kept re-requesting the data)
2024-12-05: make /play/ do internal redirects in htaccess to avoid going through http and also just speed it up, idk why I did this externally anymore
2024-12-05: Fix that page anchors (<a name>) would also have a minimum width, leading to unexpected indentation in places
2024-12-05: Upgrade to new level link format
2024-10-25: Show the year in yet more places
2024-10-23: Show an appropriate error when providing a run link where it expected a level link (in exostats.nl/https://exoracer.page.link/xyz resolving).
2024-10-22: Show the exact time when hovering over a highscore. The seconds were previously visible, but removed to make space for the year. Also, when viewing highscore progression, align the player name to the column headers for short names.
